If ever there was a time to make note of a very important social event… And this
occurs on the upcoming 4th and 5th of November… Black is Back Rally, march and conference in Washington, D.C., has arrived for the 8th year! If you think this is a year to skip out on, I ask you to please reconsider… Things have been escalating for for hundreds of years, but as we clearly see, things are getting even more increasingly out of control regarding hate crimes, racism and this government. So, any glimmer of hope a select few may have believed in should be more than clearly gone now (if it were ever even there.)

In my opinion it is more vital now than ever for social action and unity… SO! Below you will find all the information you need regarding the 8th Annual Black is Back Rally, March & Conference starting November 4th.

Video: Speaking on the Black Girls Missing in DC & Failed Efforts

My rant about the all too common act of missing Black females, Black people in general if you get into the details and history… But you’d think if this was anyone else, these kids would be all over national “media”, they would have breaking news never-ending until every last victim and their abductor is located…but with there being so many vanishing in the same approximate time period one would think they would have at least some common decency and treat this case as they would any case of blond, blue eyed girls that were missing. But no….Not even at this large number all vanishing so suddenly…, all from around the same general area…. Not even now will they act as they should. This is happening all too often and I’m going to be talking about the history or some history in America regarding the mistreatment of Black people that for the most part is never spoke of or acknowledged. The trend sadly continues it seems but we all can unite and no longer do we form the minority………..

Black & Hispanic Children Missing, Media, Government Silent, #HelpUsFindUs

Please make sure you share this flyer for a vigil being held for the missing children in Washington D.C.., As much information as possible needs to be shared and seen by any and everyone so no one can play the ignorant card truthfully. And perhaps someone will even step up and help out these missing kids!

First of all, I was amazed to learn of the Rilya Alert, which is like the Amber Alert and does not seek to replace it, but instead it aims to be an extension of it for non-white children who are -as we clearly see- extremely under represented in the media as well as by government officials, despite the fact that an overwhelming number of kids missing are not white. You can check out Rilya Alert here.

amber alert missing children in washington dc.pngForprofit media is -not surprisingly- giving no play to this issue happening in
Washington D.C..
If you know the history of America, the history of Washington D.C., the history of hate and racism America was founded on, it shouldn’t be too hard to understand  when a country has a foundation of hate still holds on to that hate, for some reason.
***
Perhaps that’s because it is virtually impossible to having a good, moral society sprout from a country built on racism, slavery and the slaughtering people for their land. Not to mention all of you who celebrate it every year in November.
 ****
The trends and laws that are of this country are all biased, many of them based originally in racism, the text and wording changed, noting more, as I will be speaking about soon.
 ****
As I said, America was built on racism and it is still run on racism. Before Black men and women were forced and not paid to build the inside and outside structures of the buildings so many American’s admire, the entire district was a slave market.
Many held Black women, men and children in slave pens which I’ll be reading about in a video shortly. That same racist history would repeat itself over, and over, and now today it is still doing so in the case of Black and hispanic children being stolen.
 *****
But why? And how can so many children all at once or even over the span of a couple days even a week go missing and no one in the media or national government make sure this is breaking news and each missing person, especially the children, should have their faces plastered on the front of every media station in America.
*****
As to the why, I have my own fear on that I may speak on later, but for now, please read the below information to help bring awareness to this extremely terrifying happening which of course is still going yet if the government had its way it’d never be known.
That is a scary thought; a petrifying thought…How many untold horror cases are there in this country…both historical and not…

Black women and girls are going missing and it’s not just in Washington D.C. It’s happening in Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, Atlanta and other urban areas around the country,” she said.

Black and Missing works with law enforcement officials nationwide, the Justice Department, and related stakeholders to spotlight missing persons of color. The organization provides vital resources to families, delivers educational training on personal safety, and more.

Derrica Wilson, a law enforcement veteran, said while many cases involving missing White women tend to garner publicity and sympathy, Black America’s missing sons and daughters, mothers, fathers and elders, are often obscured or ignored.

“We know Blacks and Latinos or any persons of color who go missing, oftentimes don’t receive much-needed media coverage, which could drastically increase the odds of their safe recovery,” said Wilson.

*Also, in Oakland, California, children vanish at a rate of approximately 100 kids per night, victim of the on sex trafficking.  Click here for more on that.

“According to the latest FBI data, as of February 2017, there are a total of 13,591 active missing person records for African American women stored in its National Crime Information Center (NCIC). Of that total, 8,042 were of the ages of 18 and under; 1,419 were between the ages of 19 to 21.

The numbers trouble Natalie Wilson, 47, co-founder of the Black and Missing Foundation, Inc., (BAM FI), a nonprofit she launched with her sister-in-law, Derrica Wilson, 38, back in 2008.
