Though this shouldn’t shock anyone in our racist system, at the request of local police, the current FBI director, James Comey, has admitted to using aircraft in Ferguson, Missouri, to “keep track of unrest on the ground”this was a year ago, August 2014, as people protested the murder of yet another young, Black, unarmed teenager (18 years- just starting his life), the government was spying on the crowd, and what’s more, claiming there were “terrorists, criminals & suspects of espionage.
That’s about all that was said; Comey didn’t say much more or share insight to the House Judiciary Committee, nor did he answer how long the ‘surveillance’ went on for, meaning – in my opinion -(and that it wouldn’t surprise me) to find out it still is going on.
To read more please click HERE and please remember to question everything; the cops want the world to think they are the righteous protector of the people, which is absolutely not true.
Ahmed Mohammed, 14, of Dallas, Texas is a clearly highly intelligent and gifted kid; a young man who should never be deemed anything less than an inspiration to others, especially by his teachers. Ahmed is an inventor; he creates, builds and fixes things. It is inspiring to see a young man wanting to learn, grow and share his creativity and innovations.
He created a clock (see his video below) which he took to school to show his teacher. Instead of getting feedback or inspiration or sparking a discussion on further projects, the intelligent teacher felt they needed to alert the police. After all, it could be a bomb…….
Ahmed says at the end of the following video that this unwarranted treatment made him feel like he “wasn’t human”; like he was a “criminal”. No child should be made to feel that way, especially one who was simply sharing his personal creation with his teacher. Isn’t exploring, experimenting and creating all a part of the learning process? Isn’t what Ahmed did exactly what any good teacher would hope their student(s) would do? If I had been his teacher, I would have been honored and proud that my student had such talent; not to mention that he felt he could share it with me.
The charges are dropped, but that’s not the point of this post. The fact that he was arrested, detained and interrogated is wrong, abuse and racism plain and simple. Ignorant thinking and foolish judgment forced a child to experience what no one should have to face for being smart and being a creator.
While it is good, of course, that the unjust charges were dropped, it still is a traumatic event to put anyone through. At the very least the police as well as the school and especially the teacher owe Ahmed the most sincere apologies. This is just further proof that we have so much work to do in this racist, biased, bigot filled country.
Tell the police and Ahmed’s school: “Curiosity and an interest in science are not a crime! Stop harassing Ahmed Mohammed, do not bring any charges against him, and remove his suspension from his school record.”
I’m absolutely enraged and outraged over the verdict of Jerame Reid’s murderers. He didn’t stop his car 100% at a stop sign; the cops pulled him over, he stopped fully right away. It took 2 seconds directly after officer ___ reached into the car for a handgun and exchanged words of premeditated murder with his partner, shouting “I’m going to kill you,” at the innocent, unarmed Black male victim.
As seen in the murder video from the dashboard camera, Jerame states what he is doing before and as he gets out of the car, with his hands in the air. He wasn’t out to hurt anyone. The cops, however, seem to have had no problem deciding how to handle the innocent, unarmed Black male.
Audio captured before the murder reveals a lot about the mind set of both cops; and it also indicates to me the murder was premeditated. It wasn’t based on an sudden fear or ‘imminent threat’ that is clear. While one cop threatens murder, the other suggests it and claims the man didn’t listen, and had a gun so of course, they had better kill.
Two Seconds. 8 shots.
How many more people must die or be harmed before we UNITE AND END POLICE BRUTALITY?!
I will write a more detailed account (and links) tomorrow after I’ve calmed down a bit… I also am going to have the article/essay I spoke of in my previous video up tomorrow instead of tonight. This case has really angered me so I’m going to gather my composure before continuing work.
These two cops shouldn’t be free; nor should they be on administrative leave; aka, paid vacation.
And Jerame Reid, along with the hundreds of others, should still be alive. How dare some of you people tell me I am too hard on cops!? This country is too easy on them and frankly I am too. They are killing innocent humans and doing it without any form of punishment- not even losing their jobs.
How I feel, what I say isn’t enough. These killers, ALL of them, should be in prison for LIFE- at the very least.
On May 16, 2010, Aiyana Stanley-Jones, 7 years old, was murdered in her sleep by Officer Joseph Weekley, who shot her in the head with his sub-machine gun. She was sleeping on the couch at her grandmothers house when Weekley and other officers raided the wrong apartment. This is a tragic but sadly perfect example of how cops shoot without caution, care or out of “fear for their lives”.
After an officer outside threw a flash grenade threw the window and Weekley could see, he pointed the sub-machine gun (why do police need sub-machine guns?) at the precious 7 year old girl sleeping, and shot her in the head; killing her.
His defense? He claimed her grandmother tried to knock the gun out of his hands thus resulting in him pulling the trigger. There is no evidence of that, however. No finger prints but his are on that gun. No blood is on anyone’s hands but his own. It’s beyond me how he can sleep at night knowing he aimed his gun and killed a sleeping child and then lied, blaming the grandmother for his actions. She had been traumatized enough without his cruel words being spoken. How could anyone with a heart even fathom to kill anyone much less an innocent child; and then place the blame on the grandmother, who witnessed the entire thing? That is a special kind of evil.
Aiyana’s grandmother says she never touched the officer but instead ran towards her granddaughter, which makes complete sense for a human being to do in this situation. We don’t even need the physical evidence to know that what happened is exactly what her grandma said happened as it’s basic human nature. But the physical evidence should have helped.
It took three years before the officer was taken to trial. Weekley has been tried twice for this horrific crime, both resulting in deadlock or a mistrial. Interestingly enough, the defense proposed a motion that the judge at the first trial denied. The judge in the second case for some reason decided to approve the same motion, which dismissed the felony charge of “involuntary” manslaughter. Because of Judge Cynthia Gray Hathaway’s decision to accept the motion by defense Aiyana’s case cannot be appealed under law. The defense attorney said the following in response:
“Today we personally informed the family of Aiyana Stanley-Jones that we have made a decision that we would not be going to trial for a third time in the Joseph Weekley case. It is unfortunate that Judge Cynthia Gray Hathaway granted a directed verdict dismissing the felony Manslaughter charge, leaving only the misdemeanor count of Careless Discharge Causing Injury or Death. Under the law her decision cannot be appealed. On Friday, January 30, 2015 at 9:00 a.m., we will move to dismiss the case.”
What a wonderful nation we have; what a wonderful legal system we have, that allows killers to get off and then ensure there are no more appeals or He swore to protect citizens, but that is the last thing he did. Police should be held to a higher standard than citizens when they murder someone; especially a sleeping child. Outrage should be seen across this nation; but nothing like that has happened nor will it.
Weekely is still on the streets as a cop. He has never been punished for this unspeakable crime. During the investigation he was placed on paid leave, which is nothing more than a paid vacation. That’s no punishment and he hasn’t had any form of discipline whatsoever for the murder of Aiyana Stanley-Jones.
How many more times do we have to go through this; how many times does police murder and beatings have to occur before the people, including you the reader get angry and we all unite against the true enemy?
I have been away from this blog site for far too long; but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been active. I just couldn’t handle at that time all I was doing and maintaining another blog. However, I am back now and plan to be posting a few times a week, and also making videos.
In fact, I’ll let the videos explain 🙂
The first video is just a little information about me and etc; it’s short… And then I’m going to include one video from an argument I had a few weeks ago that sparked me wanting to get back into blogging about police brutality and racism as it sums up my views on racism an police brutality pretty well.
I just made my new channel tonight, click here to subscribe for police brutality, racism, and etc related videos. There is only one video right now as I started this channel tonight, but I assure you a lot more will come very soon, so please subscribe if interested 🙂
Thanks and thank you all who stayed during my ‘time of silence’.
Me and Police Brutality & Racism; And What My New YouTube Page is About:
For the interested, here is a video I made the night I was arguing with the racist…it pretty much sums up my feelings regarding racism and police brutality. The ones that came before it are on that channel for …again, those interested. But from now on, polic ebrutality and racism will have a separate and dedicated YouTube channel.
And yes, I am a bit angry in them especially the last one…but if you aren’t…perhaps you should be.
The cops beat yet another innocent man. This poor man is not the first nor the last. One of the things that prompted me to join the police brutality agency I worked for was seeing a man beat to death after he was hog tied for being loud after an episode of narcolepsy. This is not random, this is not rare. It is tragic, and we need to do something to stop it, or at least bring more awareness to it. Turning your cheek makes your hands just as bloody as theirs.
For this one story, there are countless others… Some make the papers, others don’t. It’s time to end the talking and do something, I believe.
Story beings.
An elderly deaf Oklahoma man was beat by two highway patrol troopers earlier this month for allegedly refusing to comply during a traffic stop.
Pearlpearson.com
According to reports, 64-year-old Pearl Pearson left the scene of a minor automobile accident before being pulled over by Oklahoma Highway Patrol on January 3.
After issuing several vocal commands from their police vehicle, troopers claim Pearson refused to show his hands. Despite a large placard on his driver’s door stating, “Driver is deaf,” Pearson claims troopers immediately began hitting his face as he attempted to show his ID, which also states that he is hearing-impaired. It’s been reported a cop in Florida has actually been fired (for once) over having “Trayvon Martin shooting targets.” … Wow. I hope he is monitored and society makes sure he is never re-hired as a pig or anyone in a position of authority… He also should be watched, I believe, because anyone this sick is showing some serious signs of an illness that poses a danger to society. Only question I have is if there are two other cops that were in on this, why the hell are they not fired also? Will they rehire this racist later? … Keep ya eye’s open…
