First of Many… Outrage over Police Brutality. Want to be Pro-Life? Help Stop Police Killing and Abusing the People!!

Too often people ask me why I am so outraged when cops use excessive force or kill (yes, seriously asked this more than once) when they have, “such stress and work such a dangerous job!”– My response to that is one of two things. First, police don’t have the most “dangerous job” you can read my research article on that HERE. Secondly, when you go to become a police officer you know the job is going to be a little stressful at times and probably will make you nervous. Based on that common sense my logic is, it’s your own fault -not the victims fault- if you commit a crime against them because you are nervous.  So, if you are jumpy and trigger happy, why the hell are you a cop? If you are, it is your OWN fault. Of course you are stressed- IT’S HOW YOU HANDLE THE STRESS THAT MATTERS!

As I prove with FACTS below, believe it or not, there are some cops who aren’t power hungry, who don’t go out and beat, harass and kill for the sake of it. Additionally, there are police officers in other countries, such as the United Kingdom, who can arrest a person who actually is armed without killing or shooting him!

So why are the vast majority of American cops allowed to behave like animals when it is very obvious another way is possible? Even if there were no cops who understood this non-violent concept, there is no justification for violent behavior we see going on, especially in America.

The correct, morally just and humane way of patrolling is to do so non-violently and if you do behave violently you should be held to a higher standard than the rest of society. You’ve made an oath to society, one which currently you spit on. But that oath you made to serve and protect should mean if you do anything less, you are punished for your actions.

To serve and protect…; no where does it say to abuse and kill. Yet that is what too many American cops do, and what is worse… they usually get away with their crimes, sometimes they are even REWARDED…

I’m not in shock by all the horrors occurring by the police against innocent, undeserving people. I’ve worked in this field far too long to be surprised by anything like that, however, it still causes massive outrage and anger. It also has led me to wonder, if anti’s are so “pro-life” (which they aren’t but, IF) why are they fighting not only against women’s rights but ignoring the death being inflicted upon innocent PEOPLE- children are included in this. Children, not fetuses. An infant being abused matters, a child killed or beaten by police matters- but a woman going and making a choice of whether to remain pregnant or not, is (should be) no one’s concern other than her own!

(And oh yes, kids are killed in America by cops- it happens TOO OFTEN. Go through my blog or click here and simply scroll down, click next, look through them…And look at how many of the articles are about kids under 17 years old. Sadly, tragically, these are NOT even a fraction of all the murders and beatings happening not only to adults but to children as well.)

Adults matter just as much- and the frequency in which people are being beaten and killed by the cops -innocent people; unarmed people.

Expose the Dangerous, Cold Lies of Crisis Prenancy Centers (CPC)

(Note: THIS WEBSITE WILL BE ACTIVE STILL- MAINLY FOCUSING ON WAR ON PEOPLE/DRUGS, POLICE BRUTALITY, ETC) While this site will remain active as a site dedicated to police brutality, harmful laws, the war on the people er the war on drugs, etc, I am currently working on separate website that will be dedicated solely to news dedicated to the struggle for women’s rights, including rights for abortion and against domestic violence. In the mean time, I thought I’d post this up in hopes of anyone out there thinking of going to one of these “Crisis Pregnancy Centers” will think twice.

Also, be sure to check out this link where more the lies spewed by Ken Cuccinelli and his supporters are exposed and really, seeing the video or reading the text – either way – it is clear to see how messed up these people are in the head. Nicest way of putting it.

Oh and as a side note, having an abortion did not ruin my life. It wasn’t the most fun thing I’ve done, all women feel differently and that’s okay… But for me, almost a year later, I can say I feel a great RELIEF because I know without a doubt (as I did then) that it was the right choice. Not just for me, but morally. Abortion is not evil, it is not wrong. Stay strong and listen to your HEART – no one else.

Dangerous Lies Told by Anti-Choice “Crisis Pregnancy Centers”

Have you ever seen advertisements that read “Pregnant? Scared?” or offer free pregnancy tests? Those are marketing tactics by anti-choice “crisis pregnancy centers” (CPCs) aimed at luring women through their doors in order to deceive and shame them out of choosing abortion.

NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia Foundation recently investigated CPCs in their state to expose the lies and misinformation CPC employees tell women.

Here are a few of the most egregious lies that CPCs tell women who believe they’re getting honest medical advice, debunked:

CPC Lie #1: Abortion causes breast cancer.

Truth: This claim has been refuted by the American Cancer Society, the American Medical Association, and the National Cancer Institute. The most respected scientific studies all show that abortion care does NOT increase a woman’s risk of breast cancer.

CPC Lie #2: Abortion will ruin your chances of having children in the future.

Truth: Another unfounded claim. The Guttmacher Institute explains, “The preponderance of evidence from well-designed and well-executed studies shows no connection between abortion and future fertility problems.” And according to the Mayo Clinic, abortion (both surgical and medical) does NOT harm a woman’s chance of getting pregnant or having a healthy pregnancy in the future.

CPC Lie #3: Abortion is extremely dangerous.

Truth: The National Abortion Federation reports that legal abortion is one of the safest medical procedures performed in the U.S. today. Of the women who received early care – when the majority of women end their pregnancies – “97% percent of women report no complications, and less than 0.5% have more serious complications that require some additional surgical procedure and/or hospitalization.” In fact, the complication rate of legal, medically supervised, first-trimester abortion in the United States is significantly lower than the complication rate of most other common outpatient procedures.

CPC Lie #4: Having an abortion will ruin your life.

Truth: The decision to end a pregnancy is a deeply personal one and can elicit a wide variety of emotions, but research has found that “[w]hile some women may experience sensations of regret, sadness or guilt after an abortion, the overwhelming responses are relief and happiness.” Another Guttmacher study found that most women do not feel regret after having an abortion procedure. In order to make the best decision for her and her family, a woman must have accurate and comprehensive information. If CPC employees really cared about women’s mental health, they wouldn’t subject them to coercion and shame.

These lies are designed to scare women out of choosing abortion care. When a woman doesn’t have honest information about her options, it could endanger her reproductive health. And it’s happening across the country. There are 34 states that currently support these dangerous centers with taxpayer dollars. Is your state one of them?

It is taking a bit longer than expected to settle back in and get back to my regular posting; both on here and on youtube. Please bare with me, and I apologize to everyone whom has emailed me and I haven’t responded to- please, please know it is nothing personal I just have not had the opportunity to do as I would like, nor in the time I initially thought. I don’t understand why more people are not upset and outraged over how this world is; from police brutality to lack of women’s rights as well the stigma placed upon important things such as abortion, mental illness, etc.  What I am currently furious about is the term “Pro-Life” being used by anti-choicers. Here is why.

…And the forgotten. That was me, searching for answers, looking for other women who felt as I was feeling during pregnancy. I searched the internet for hours, not knowing the terms to look for, being faced with ridiculous and religious hate posts instead discouraged me from seeking out other women who had been in (or still was) in the place I was in.

I was then pregnant for the first time, and didn’t fully come to terms with this reality until a few weeks in when I began to feel the changes and realize me and my husband’s life would change forever. Not only this, but it strengthened my flashbacks and other mental issues. I continued to search for anyone to talk to about everything; the situation I was in.

But depression during pregnancy still was something the majority of people only spoke of as being “antenatal depression” and I could find very little at the time I needed it most on mental health, pregnancy and abortion. I wanted my pregnancy done, or my life over.

So, the reason I am going to write on depression, mental health and abortion is because that was a huge part of my story, and I hope to offer women a place on my site to see they are not alone nor are they evil for how they feel.

In my opinion, why a woman has an abortion is her own, and that’s all there is to it. If it is right for you for, reason does not matter. It doesn’t mean you are any more right or wrong for having an abortion.
