February 23rd Nationwide Protests to Protect Individual Privacy From FBI and Government

We’re NOT protesting Apple, they are fighting back against this too. We’re protesting the government’s dangerous attempt to undermine our security by demanding a backdoor.- Below

The government is searching for an easy way to access and monitor all of us with iPhones. I’ve always been an Apple supporter; now more than ever for not simply selling us out and making a new OS with a backdoor for the FBI. They at least are resisting.

The AP states:

“Apple is fighting the court order issued in the case, arguing that the special software sought by the FBI could be used to break into millions of other iPhones. The FBI contends Apple is exaggerating the security risks of complying with the court order in a marketing ploy aimed at selling more iPhones.

Fight for the Future believes Apple’s concerns are warranted and is hoping the protests will persuade the Obama administration to take a stand against the way the FBI is trying to break into Farook’s iPhone, said Evan Greer, the group’s campaign director.”

Of course the Government thus far is supporting the FBI’s attack on the people and Apple. And the abusive, brutal and cruel NYPD has said the encryption Apple uses is, “A Gift From God to Criminals”….

That all by itself should be a huge red flag to all of us. Our privacy is at risk of being further invaded and violated. Join me and Apple at protesting the government! (See Links Below)

And from another article:

This is a huge.

“This is really dangerous. The FBI just got a judge to order Apple to build a software “backdoor” to help them hack into an iPhone. They’ve been wanting to do this for years, but now they’re exploiting the tragedy in San Bernardino, CA to push their agenda to weaken the security of all of our phones to enable more government surveillance.

Our basic safety and security is at stake! On Tuesday, February 23rd we will gather at Apple stores nationwide with two simple messages: “Don’t Break Our Phones!” and “Secure Phones Save Lives!”

We’re not protesting Apple, they are fighting back against this too. We’re protesting the government’s dangerous attempt to undermine our security by demanding a backdoor.

Scroll to the bottom of this event for a list of organized protests (coming soon), or simply show up at the most central Apple store in your town at 5:30pm. Check back soon for a simple tool that will allow you to turn your iPhone, tablet, or laptop into a protest sign you can bring to these events.

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT:

Breaking the security features of our iPhones won’t just hurt our privacy, it puts all of our safety at risk. Once a backdoor is built, it won’t just be used by governments or law enforcement. It will enable malicious hackers, foreign governments, terrorists, thieves and stalkers to use our data against us.

What the FBI is doing is dangerous, but it’s also illegal. Apple has a right to offer customers secure devices that protect our most sensitive information. According to the ACLU, forcing Apple to hack their own customers is unconstitutional and will undermine our privacy and safety without improving national security.

So far, Apple is vowing to fight this unlawful and reckless demand by the government, but we need to show them that they’re not standing alone. Join us at one of these important events to stand up for everyone’s safety.”

FBI Admits Secret Spying on Protestors During Anti-Police KILLING Protests

Though this shouldn’t shock anyone in our racist system, at the request of local police, the current FBI director, James Comey, has admitted to using aircraft in Ferguson, Missouri, to “keep track of unrest on the ground” this was a year ago, August 2014, as people protested the murder of yet another young, Black, unarmed teenager (18 years- just starting his life), the government was spying on the crowd, and what’s more, claiming there were “terrorists, criminals & suspects of espionage.

That’s about all that was said; Comey didn’t say much more or share insight to the House Judiciary Committee, nor did he answer how long the ‘surveillance’ went on for, meaning – in my opinion -(and that it wouldn’t surprise me) to find out it still is going on.

To read more please click HERE and please  remember to question everything; the cops want the world to think they are the righteous protector of the people, which is absolutely not true.

Undercover NYPD, MTA, Metro, Documents Kept on BlackLivesMatter Activists

Repost! I’ll write my response to this insanity, or, make a YouTube video in response sometime this weekend. For now…Read this insanity; insanity that we were warned was happening, anyhow.~Eve

Documents obtained by The Intercept confirm that undercover police officers attended numerous Black Lives Matter protests in New York City between December 2014 and February 2015. The documents also show that police in New York have monitored activists, tracking their movements and keeping individual photos of them on file.

The nearly 300 documents, released by the Metropolitan Transit Authority and the Metro-North Railroad, reveal more on-the-ground surveillance of Black Lives Matter activists than previous reports have shown, conducted by a coalition of MTA counterterrorism agents and undercover police in conjunction with NYPD intelligence officers.

This appears to be the first documented proof of the frequent presence of undercover police at Black Lives Matter protests in the city of New York, though many activists have suspected their presence since mass protests erupted there last year over a grand jury’s decision not to indict Daniel Pantaleo, a police officer involved in the death of Eric Garner.

The protest surveillance and use of undercover officers raises questions over whether New York-area law enforcement agencies are potentially criminalizing the exercise of free speech and treating activists like terrorist threats. Critics say the police files seem to document a response vastly disproportionate to the level of law breaking associated with the protests. The Police Never Stopped Watching… Privacy is in Danger All Together- if it was ever real….

Not just the NSA that is currently busy, but also local and state police watching and invading the rights and privacy of law-abiding Americans, daily. – Alternet.org is a great source of info… I am trying to get back into writing, or at least, sharing information on all sites from this one to my pro-abortion site. I think this is very important for everyone to read, remember and most importantly, understand so… repost…. ->

By now, it’s well known that the National Security Agency (NSA) is collecting troves of data about law-abiding Americans. But the NSA is not alone: a series of new reports show that state and local police have been busy collecting data on our daily activities as well — under questionable or nonexistent legal pretenses. These revelations about the extent of police snooping in the U.S. — and the lack of oversight over it — paint a disturbing picture for anyone who cares about civil liberties and privacy protection.

Why is America Allowed to Monitor and/or Imprison the Wrong People?

“The United States has about 5 percent of the world’s population, but we have 25 percent of the world’s prisoners – we incarcerate a greater percentage of our population than any country on Earth,” said Michael Jacobson (the director of the non-partisan Vera Institute of Justice, also running the NYC jail and probation systems throughout the ’90s.

Though we all know Facebook, in partnership with the government (and many others), monitor us and have been spying on innocent citizens via Facebook with the excuse that is for “national security” when actually it only really seems to aid in arresting people for things as insane as a teenager making a sarcastic remark to hunting down people who for using drugs.

Harassed by Boston Police for Video Recording… Why?

I believe as citizens it is our duty to film police. It doesn’t really matter much as police in America are pretty much given a license to do whatever they will, regardless of the evidence against them, but for future reference… Continue reading Harassed by Boston Police for Video Recording… Why?

Teenager Facing Felony Charges Over Sarcastic Facebook Comment… Wake Up America!!!

First they will remove our right to self expression until it is gone completely. Then freedom of speech, and every other right we have- or do we have? Maybe we never had any of these rights, only the illusion.

Zimmerman NOT GUILTY?! Again!? How Many More Times!

I am not surprised nor shocked but I did hope for SOME form of punishment. He killed an unarmed teen -oh no, wait, he was armed with concrete (but then again so was Zimmerman; that and more) and he gets off with not a single bit of punishment?! AGAIN!? This happens all the time, but when it makes the media you’d think it would cause some sort of outrage.

I read some chick saying people are willing to riot over Zimmerman but not “more important” things like NSA. More important?!  People have been getting slaughtered by cops and people of the like for centuries and then walking; is it because it doesn’t impact YOU that you think it is “silly” if I recall correct to riot over the death of, YET AGAIN, an innocent teenager!?

While NSA and whistle blowing and our privacy IS an issue that the people should be rioting over, SO ARE CASES LIKE THIS! This has been happening to people for AGES all over the world INCLUDING here in America. People should be outraged at the killing of innocents by those in any form of “power” or by any form of hate filled bigot. Especially when they usually are set free!

She also made a note of how there was no media blackout; showing her brilliant stupidity and ignorance for 98% of police brutality “security guard” cases don’t get the attention this one did!

Police Shoot Harmless Dog, Trespass, and Leave Owner Traumatized

“video surveillance footage from the Green family residence revealed the absence of any charging, lunging or showing of teeth by the dog Grady and instead showed the dog Grady seeking ‘greater distance between the officer and himself,’ displaying ‘calming [body] signals’ by ‘looking away from the officers and showing his [Grady’s] flank,’ and moving in a ‘trot.'” (Brackets in complaint.)

(Yes, this is relevant). I had my precious best friend, a dog, for 15, almost 16 years. Since the age of 6, she has been my best friend, she loved no one but me- a trait only she had and to a traumatized child that was vital. As I grew up she stayed the only loyal being, I grieve her still. I wear her collar on my wrist (she’s a chihuahua) and think of her daily. I now have another chihuahua whom is precious to me. To see them or any animal hurt like this breaks my heart, but when it’s your dog, the pain would be more than traumatic. Had this been me and my dogs, especially my best friend, I think I would have had a breakdown for she was all I had.

People who don’t know the love and emotional bond between animals and humans I have pity for. Maybe you aren’t as obsessed with your dog or animal but feel it’s part of your family.

Now, how would you feel if he/she was calmly sitting on your porch watching the world and minding its business, only to be shot…on purpose…by a cop?

In the Chicago suburb of South Holland that’s exactly what happened; with video footage to prove the dogs innocence. What happened? Why does this matter? Surely a cop wouldn’t unjustly kill an innocent family dog…

Edward Snowden Gave Up More Than Most

20130624-081340.jpg

I’m not an active Facebook user anymore but I do think this pic is worth posting and info worth remembering… Snowden, like Manning, Assanage, online activists- had no PERSONAL gain. Snowden gave up what most people, especially most of us Americans, wouldn’t: safety, security, family and money. He gave that up in hopes we would be outraged and do our job as citizens not just in America, but all across the world. He deserves so much more than to have to be running from his own country for safety; for asylum.

One of the main reasons I stand with Edward Snowden is because he could have stayed as one of the many well off Americans; government employed and paid well to keep his head down and mouth closed. But he didn’t. I know giving up money for truth only to be persecuted may seem like the obvious right thing to do, but look how many government officials with any level of power / access do it.

Snowden deserves better than what his own country is doing to him. Please remember, the government does not speak for all Americans (I.e., me). I want a just world without this war on the people, on women, on “drugs”, on truth-tellers / whistleblowers. I want an idealistic world of no racism, hate, etc but we have along way to go… My point, though, is this country doesn’t represent me or most Americans- please don’t view us all as corrupt as our government.

Snowden- may you finally find a safe sanctuary wherever you are headed. You’re among the heroes to me.

If we want change we gotta fight for it, ain’t nobody gonna give it to us, we just gonna have to take it.” – my hero, Tupac Shakur
