The Term “Pro-Life” For Anti’s is Sickening- There’s Nothing Pro Life About Them

Wow- I just saw the “toys” of 12 week old fetuses these amazingly simple anti-choice people were handing out in North Dakota to children and I feel a great mixture of emotions; from disgust to pity to anger… Anger at their hypocrisy. They claim the title “pro-life” about them. They don’t care for the mother or her well-being much less her future. All of which, let us not forget, impacts the fetus to be infant to be child and the life it will have, massively.

Why Abortion is a RIGHT and Should Be Legal AND Accessible

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: abortion saved my life. It was the hardest choice I’ve ever had to make, but it was made out of love and knowing I was right to protect a child from being born into a home that was not ready, as well as to a mother unready. Had I been forced to carry out pregnancy, I would have killed myself. The reasons I will not repeat or share more of. My husband and I both knew I couldn’t handle it, and it was not right for us at the time. So the choice was made and I have never felt such relief, ever. With that said,  

Medical Choices Shouldn’t Hold Criminal Title or Threat

Had to repost…. So saddening that people actually hate people who believe we should have choices, and people who make use those options, so much they go to the extent of calling false names, lying and verbally abusing us while also trying to take our right to health care away.

Don’t criminalize medical decisions by Dr. Kristen Cain

The North Dakota Legislature is advancing extreme legislation that would give a fertilized egg the same legal rights and protections as you and I have within the North Dakota criminal code.

This “personhood bill’ – Senate Bill 2303 — is now being considered in the House. This would mean that in vitro fertilization providers face criminal prosecution, with imprisonment and loss of medical license, if an embryo is lost or discarded. Abortion providers would also be guilty of homicide.

As an infertility doctor in North Dakota who cares for women in the earliest stages of pregnancy and cares for their pre-pregnancy embryos, I am gravely concerned about this bill.

Politicians in North Dakota are pushing a package of abortion restrictions, including the most extreme abortion ban in the country, which would outlaw abortion as early as 6 weeks! This would essentially ban nearly all abortion care in the state.

Insane Abortion Ban in North Dakota Threatens Virtually the Entire State; As Well as Women & Doctors.

Sadly and alarmingly Arkansas’ no longer is number one for having the strictest abortion law (proposed) in America. Worryingly, two anti-abortion bills have passed the State Senate in North Dakota today (Friday). If passed, it would be the first law of its kind in America, banning almost all abortions state wide. One of the proposed bills, for example, would refuse a woman the right to chose whether to have an abortion or not as soon as a “fetal heartbeat” is detected (this can be as early as 6 weeks). I encourage you strongly to click the link regarding “fetal heartbeat” for scientific facts regarding what it is, and why/how those who are anti-choice manipulate and abuse this term. An example on another ban proposed regarding abortions is if there are fetal abnormalities.

There is a lot of argument on this, a person with Down Syndrome is no less of a person without it; but! it is a disability and disadvantage. If a mother and father or a mother doesn’t want to put their child through the obstacles ahead or if they feel they are not ready (when I say they, I mean the woman ultimately as it is HER body and women DO have a special connection with what grows inside us-) then that is that person or couples business to decide; NOT the government and not any religious organization. They have the right NOT to choice. We should be allowed the right TO chose what is best for us, and for our children.
