Newark, NJ, ICE LockUp’s Exposed: Once Again! ANOTHER CRITICAL WATCHDOG REPORT: ROTTEN FOOD, DECAYING MATTRESSES

Why in hell do we have people in any positions of power who are abusing, in any shape or form, fellow humans, sexually harassing them, making them sleep in decaying beds…and then sarcastically playing it off as if it isn’t an issue… HOW DO THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT!?

And how do those of you who turn the other way live with your selfish souls?

This is more than I humane… and if you are one of these jerks who can’t even stand against what’s wrong but complain about those who DO speak out; it is you that is the fool and should be ashamed. I sure as hell am not and by being silent you only aid cruelty.

What is more, someone came talking to someone near me about a woman complaining about her food quality. He played some YouTube video they’d made into a joke of her, I didn’t fully understand what in hell they were on about…

Now I do. If I’d been more up to date then I’d have torn into their sick souls for truth and knowledge I will always inflict; I don’t care when or who you are… please share!

A Newark, New Jersey immigrant detention center has been feeding detainees moldy, spoiled and foul-smelling food—an abuse that’s led detainees to file scores of grievances and to report symptoms of food poisoning, according to a report released Friday by the Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General.

The center, which can house more than 900 men, is run by the Essex County Department of Corrections, under an agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE. DHS inspectors conducted a surprise visit last July and found multiple health-and-safety violations of detainee rights and ICE standards. The inspector general’s report noted that the Essex County Correctional Facility also failed to disclose to ICE, as required, incidents involving fights among detainees and hospitalization of detainees for mental illness.

A detainee also found a loaded gun belonging to a guard in a bathroom, the inspector general’s report said.  Center staff admitted to inspectors that they told the detainee who found the gun “not to discuss the matter with anyone,” according to inspectors.

In the report, inspectors noted that detainees filed about 200 grievances about food quality during the first six months of 2018.

“For dinner, we were served meatballs that smelled like fecal matter,” one detainee wrote.

“The food that we received has been complete garbage,” another wrote. He also wrote: “I have a stomach infection because of it and the nurse herself told me it was caused by the food.”

Inspectors observed “expired and moldy bread” in a refrigerator, despite requirements that staff toss it out.  “The food handling in general was so substandard that ICE and facility leadership had the kitchen manager replaced during our inspection,” inspectors reported.

ICE asserted that after seeing a draft of the report its officials “immediately initiated a follow-up review process” at the Essex facility. ICE and Essex detention officials could not be reached for comment.

ButWNYC radio in New York reported that ICE, in a statement,

said that conditions inside Essex had improved and that ICE was “committed to continually enhancing” detention operations to promote “a safe and secure environment.”

The inspector general additionally detailed how inspectors last July found showers at Essex covered with mold. Staff had placed trash cans under holes in ceilings to collect rain leaking in; two leaks were in detainee rooms right over their beds.

When inspectors asked guards about decaying mattresses they observed, the report says,

guards said they “wait for detainees to complain” before staff put in a request that mattresses be replaced.  😡😡

The Newark immigration detention center isn’t the first facility where DHS inspectors have found neglect and substandard conditions.

In October, a DHS inspector general report found violations at the Adelanto detention center in California that included inappropriate handcuffing and shackling of detainees and medical neglect, as theCenter for Public Integrity reported.

A dentist employed at Adelanto, which is operated by the private GEO Group, Inc., told inspectors that detainees could use strings from their socks to floss their teeth if dental floss was not available to them.

Inspectors also found evidence that a disabled detainee in a wheelchair was placed into “segregation,” or isolation, for nine days, during which time he was unable to sleep in a bed or brush his teeth.

In January, another DHS inspector general reportaccused ICE of issuing only two penalties against contractors holding immigrant detainees despite finding 14,000 violations of detainee rights and ICE standards. The violations were found at 106 contract detention centers from 2015 to 2018. Violations included contractors’ failure to report alleged sexual assaults to ICE. Last September, the Center reported on private-prison companies’ history, and allegations of abuses that include medical neglect.

In Texas alone there are 55 hate organizations… That they know of. This is nothing new for America or Texas. At least there are efforts against it, and with social media hopefully we can do more to keep the people safe and also dismantle these terrorists… THAT should be the top priority of any President if they truly care for equality and all of those they ‘govern.

 

All Hate Speech/Crime Should Be Noted…

Though I am also going to put this up on the side of my page, I feel this is worth making a post as well… First let’s remember that since 2016 with Trump and his hate inspired, biased speeches and campaigns, it should come as no surprise that hate-groups, hate organizations and activity have grown, also.

There has been an alarming increase in reports of hate incidents nationwide since the 2016 election. Such reports range from vandalism and hate-fueled graffiti (as experienced in San Jacinto last week), to physical attacks and shootings.

Currently, there is heightened fear and anxiety in immigrant and minority communities, fueled in part by 2016 campaign rhetoric, in addition to some statements and policies from the current administration. Despite fear, it is vital to have a course of action when such incidents occur.

The number of hate related incidents reported in 2016 was unprecedented. SPLC noted such crimes increased by three percent over 2015, to a total of 917. The organization’s annual hate map (www.splcenter.org/hate-map) lists groups and organizations that target people based on race, religion, or sexual orientation. Also, according to SPLC, in 2016, the nation experienced its second straight year over year increase in the number of hate groups.

Sadly I have either heard of or know people who have been or are victimized by hate since Trump came into the position he is. It’s as though he made all the hate filled and biased bigots come out proudly, knowing they could hide under his terrifying hateful wing, so to speak.

Another Person Joins Lawsuit Against Racism They Faced Working at Fox News

Not surprising I’m sad to say. Fox News is not a news channel; it is an entertainment channel, it competes for ratings against other “news” channels like CNN, and CNN is but a little better for at least they don’t go to the extremities of Fox shows like Bill O’Riely (I don’t care if I spell that right or not so…) or fire their reporters and THEN take them to court for not wanting to lie about the topic of their assignment. People who watch Fox News are terrifying, I hope people will start doing independent research, or at the very least, watch/read facts and then make their own opinion, not take the opinion of these “reporters” and claim them as factual and their own.

Anyone aware and awake has known for along time that Fox is not only an extremely racist, sexist, biased channel. This can be seen in how they portray Black people in particular; even victims…even children. Though most for profit media outlets do the same, Fox News takes it an extra step in how they speak of the Black and Hispanic community, on the struggle for equal rights, immigration of “illegal” immigrants… Oh, and not to mention how they speak of Islam and Muslims (which is anyone who “looks” like they are a Muslim; so, everyone in the middle east is automatically a terrorist.

The government controls the media; it was made public in 1977. At that time they declared they would stop. HA! If you believe that,… I’m speechless towards you.

Another victim of racism has joined in on a lawsuit two others had already began. This is not an isolated issue; this is how the corporation in general views anyone who isn’t a white man. If this is dismissed or if they don’t get some form of compensation or whatever they seek for this, I hope there is an uprising in America regarding rights of non-whites being ignored, in cases of all sorts….

Immigration Policy- Trump’s Terrorist Attack Update

Friday, John Kelly signed new “sweeping” guidelines which would give the Federal authorities even further legalized power for both seasoned agents and patrol as well as the new 15,000+ newly hired to add even more aggression to their efforts in detaining and deporting undocumented immigrants.But Kelly’s draft doesn’t even stop there. If signed into law it also makes it legal to force the immediate return of Mexican immigrants upon seizure. 

This is insane and out of control; I can only hope it won’t be passed. Please read on and see the following links for more details on the developing criminal action in motion. And let us not forget the already occurring raids on immigrants going on right now; forcing many to flee for Canada.

A White House official said the White House has raised objections with the documents and is working with DHS to finalize the policy. The official was not authorized to discuss the process publicly and insisted on anonymity.

Under the draft guidelines, Kelly seeks to “expeditiously hire” 10,000 more enforcement agents and 5,000 Border Patrol officers.

Seeking to fulfill Trump’s campaign promise to build a wall along the Mexican border, Kelly also calls on Customs and Border Protection to “immediately begin planning, design, construction and maintenance of a wall, including the attendant lighting, technology (including sensors), as well as patrol and access roads.”

Trump as President Does Matter & Here’s Why

Writing this from my cell but I plan on making a video soon… Either way, please excuse any typos from autocorrect… I had to get this Trump crap off my chest.

I know people who think Trump is just another president, just another body; they all fail to note the fact that who voted for him & the numbers, every last one, show a sick and hateful society waiting for a hate filled leader to take charge. It’s so much deeper and not really funny to me; that Trump got voted in. Work in the hood and with gangs, etc won’t change some say. I say cops are going to be even more out of control. Accountability? If we could forget it before we surely can now. 

So… Just another evil in office, yes. However, of the 2 evils, there’s no way I can see any logic in voting for what comes under the reign of this. I support anarchy; true and complete rule of ourselves. But America isn’t ready for that. 

Since we must have someone -Sanders in my opinion-should have been the clear choice; but without him we were left with two horrible choices. No matter what you feel for Hillary, almost anyone would be better than Trump; a psychopath who cares only for himself- who showed his true colors during the election and prior to his showing interest of running. 

America could have maybe had a chance at starting to change finally, for the better… Bernie was the only bit of hope there. If you disagree and think someone else; fine… I don’t care who your other was; so long as it wasn’t Trump. 

And no; there’s not been an American president to ever show they actually hold true care for most of what I fight for. HOWEVER; it’s been a long damn time since we’ve had a president so proudly sexist and racist, and filled with hate.

Since Ferguson, What are Police Doing to Improve Safety?

Currently I am working on a complete history of the origins of police throughout every era and major racial law ‘change’, and have realized it’ll have to be done it videos like this. Though it’s not about the history, it’s insanely, insanely important information. This is what the law enforcement have been doing to “regulate” safety since Ferguson – … I will post links and quotes and all that stuff that I cite ASAP, but I wanted to post these videos first in hopes someone will share them and get the word out; we *HAVE* to create something better. We have to UNITE, and wake up, first.

First Video- I talk first for a few minutes about the risk in a cops job, based on their own and independent sources [it’s not the most dangerous job] and what the causes of these deaths last year were, and why it matters since violence against police has falling 15+%

Then, we get into police chief words….encouraging violence. And excuse my erm in ability to speak at a random point in the video.

Second video: As the first video was uploading, I couldn’t handle it so I carried on… Since, “A lot of cops are being too cautious because of what’s going on in the media.” – Police tell CNN. Due to this, of course, cops are being too hesitant to use force, and these training classes and literature to encourage not only to not be afraid to use force; but to do so and work about the consequences later. Black Panther Party & the KKK….

I am sure I am way behind in this but I’ve only lately found out that about a website /  app Quora where people ask questions and you give your answer. I figure since someone actually asked such an insane question, others may wonder the same… So here is my answer to the following question:

 

Are Black Panther members just as racist as KKK members?

            My reply:

Sigh. No. Where would you get this idea? Let’s compare the Black Panther Party’s 10 point plan with that of the KKK. If you read books on former panthers or by former panthers what are they teaching? Last question before I get back to answering is, how much do you know about the Black Panthers; how could anyone put them on a level as low as the KKK… Then again, if you are truly asking… This should clear it up but let me remind you, this is only one piece I’m pulling out of an entire group of reasons why the KKK is hate and the BPP was not.

After I post these two you shouldn’t need my writing but I’m going to do it anyway lol. So, we look at

the BPP 10 point program. This is what they wanted; they wanted nothing unreasonable.

What we have is the Black Panthers wanting a bit of peace, safety and equality; and the KKK wanting unwarranted superiority and power, meaning they had to have a the Black community to slaughter, use as a scare tactic, and spread lies, such as the panthers were racist as the klan. The Panthers wanted what the most basic white person had; they weren’t out for blood, that’s what makes the panthers NOT racist. One of many things. The KKK wanted nothing but blood and power. But I digress and speak on that more later.

The Panthers do not mention hate, death wishes or superiority over others though some like myself would argue they should. They never were paid for building the Capitol, the White house, the entire South; America as we know it! And still they humbly and kindly ask for basic human rights.

BPP 10 point

1)FREEDOM.

2) FULL EMPLOYMENT FOR BLACK PEOPLE.

3) AND END TO THE ROBBERY BY WHITE MAN IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY.

4)THEY WANTED DECENT HOUSING THAT WAS ACCEPTABLE FOR HUMAN BEINGS.

5) THE BLACK PANTHER PARTY WANTED EDUCATION WHICH SPEAKS TRUE HISTORY OF BLACK PEOPLE IN AMERICAN SOCIETY AND THEY WANTED TO EDUCATE BLACK PEOPLE TO EXPOSE TH TRUE NATURE OF THIS ‘DECADENT AMERICAN SOCIETY’.

6) THEY WANTED THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT TO EXEMPT BLACK MEN FROM THE MILITARY.

7) SADLY, THEY ALSO WANTED WHAT MOST OF US NOW WANT AND THAT IS AN END TO POLICE BRUTALITY AND THE MURDER OF BLACK PEOPLE.

8) FREEDOM FOR ALL BLACK MEN HELD IN FEDERAL, STATE COUNTY AND CITY PRISONS AND JAILS.

9) FOR ALL BLACK PEOPLE, WHEN BROUGHT TO TRIAL, TO BE TRIED IN A COURT BY A JURY OF THEIR PEER GROUP OR PEOPLE FROM THEIR BLACK COMMUNITIES *AS DEFINED IN THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES!* (STILL A PROBLEM; ALL OF THIS BUT I DIGRESS)

10) AND FINALLY, THE BLACK PANTHER PARTY WANTED LAND, BREAD, HOUSING, EDUCATION, CLOTHING, JUSTICE AND PEACE, AND AS THEY WERE A “MAJOR POLITICAL OBJECTIVE” FOR AMERICA, THEY VERY INTELLIGENTLY WANTED A UNITED NATIONS SUPERVISED PLEBISCITE.

KKK

There is not one ounce of hate of hate in the Panthers plan, mind you, nor was there any talk of killing except in self defense which I support.

Now we go to the KKK. This is evil racism and hate. We could start at their racist hypocrisy and note the bombing of a church, after they had just come from church. This bombing killing 4 little girls inside. They bombed schools, churches, houses,… Lynchings still were used as a means to try and terrorize; hell, look at Emmet Till! J Edgar Hoover was the most twisted individual in the FBI and rejected any and all efforts to prosecute or punish any KKK member or racist for that matter. He stated he believed in Alabama the men wouldn’t be convicted, and, he was right as 5 years later there were no charges and the FBI closed the case.

Again that is just ONE. That is just one during this PERIOD.

This was by far not the sole act of violence, that research is easy enough to find, and it is too sick for me to waste my time on. So, I’ll leave it with this. Their belief system has always been purge and murder any non-white. Now it has extended to homosexuals, etc. On their page, they state the following after writing a long bit on their deep and clear hatred.

“We’re often asked if there will be a race war in America’s future. Our answer to this question is “yes”. What most people don’t realize is there are racial battles breaking out all across America right now. These racial battles are going to lead us into an all out race war. As the non-white race population is growing the White population is decreasing.”

So in a round about way we are told on their page numerous times by the support of their past actions of horrendous murders of Black people and their belief that still it should be a white only country, they are admitting they would go to arms to kill again, if they haven’t already.

All the Black Panthers wanted was freedom and a chance.

And someone has the nerve to say they were racist? Why weren’t they racist is a better question! For they weren’t; and they had reason. Many whites, especially the KKK, are racist, with NO damn reason to be. It’s beyond sickening and to the person who wrote below that you can’t have different levels of racism, um, yes you can.

So in closing! :

THE BLACK PANTHERS WERE NEVER RACIST; IT WAS MADE ABOUT RACE BY THE WHITE GOVERNMENT AND WHITE PEOPLE, SO THEY HAD TO MENTION THEIR RACE FOR THEY WERE AND ARE BEING TARGETED; STILL IN MENTIONING; NO HATE WAS SPOKEN, ONLY A PLEA FOR BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS.

WHILE THE KKK ON THE OTHER HAND DOES NOTHING BUT SPREAD HATRED, DEATH THREATS, SMILES DURING LYNCHINGS AND PREACH SICK, PSYCHOPATHIC LIES OF RACIAL HATRED.

Book 1 Must Reading, ‘Without Sanctuary’ My Thoughts

I’ve decided I’m going to start randomly suggesting books I’ve read or am reading that I think others may be interested in or books, like this one, which I feel should be mandatory reading. As horrific as this book is, this book is real, and not only do these souls need to be remembered and respected, we also need to acknowledge that this never stopped; sadly…. To this day, I am sad to say, it still goes on just in a new way. And then white people have the audacity to say others are savages?? What a joke!

Without Sanctuary: Lynching Photography in America by James Allen

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is one of the hardest books I’ve ever read. It’s hard giving it 5 stars, but that is simply because of what we see happened…the book itself, to have compiled all of this, is a must read. While there are amazing things within the African & Black community to focus on, of course this also needs to be focused on not only by non-whites, but if anything, especially by non-whites in hopes they will open their eyes and understand, even a little bit, of the WHY. I have light skin, it doesn’t matter that I’m Spanish, because I look white. It does shame me, and I don’t want white privilege….Yet there are too many whom flaunt their white privilege while denying it. I don’t see how anyone can do that or deny it after reading this book; after seeing what is still going on today, just in a new way.
