Price of Britain’s Slave Trade Revealed at St. John’s College

Very interesting read. The below quote along shows us how sick and corrupted ‘people’ are to allow money to twist and pollute their mind, heart and soul enough to treat fellow humans so immorally; with such vicious malice and depravity.

Earlier this month, St John’s College Library at the University of Cambridge, announced the acquisition of letters and papers revealing in detail how human beings were priced for sale during the 18th century Transatlantic Slave Trade. They are now available to researchers and the public. Special Collections Librarian Kathryn McKee reminds us that the 18th century letters provide “a distressing reminder of the powerful business interests that sustained one of the darkest chapters in British history.” Dr. Richard Benjamin, Head of the International Slavery Museum, points out that the letters are also part of a larger body of historical documentation that sheds light on resistance to slavery. How Welfare/Job Centre Treats the Disabled- Video

This blows my mind. First, people who work with the disabled are saints (the ones who are kind and caring -such as this lady appears to be). However, when the government expects people with any disability; mental, emotional or physical, to work I don’t understand why the public is not outraged. The sweet young woman in the below video has a serious disability and upon watching her I would like anyone with a brain to name a job she could handle.

American Police…Try Following This UK Officer’s Example

I normally am not impressed by cops, there was the cop in California who saved countless people from jumping to their death off of the Golden Gate Bridge– to me he’s a cop worthy of respect- at least, from what I know. Check out that link, it is actually very inspiring.

And though I know police in England are not saints and do far more than their share of abuse; I must say if American cops responded like cops in London did today, this would be a far safer country. (Police are the biggest gang we have here in America, if you ask me. That’s sad and scary. Anyhow-)

Too Insane to Comprehend; Moronic Writer Seeks Attention by Claiming Women Should be Sterilized…

This is sickening. This, is the type of thing “anti-choicers” should protest, something we should all protest. Apparently, a free London (local) newspaper is making the call for women to be “sterilized”- stating, and I sadly quote:

“certain people should be banned altogether from producing offspring and possibly even neutered for the general good of society.”

Yeah. It should be the people who wrote the article. Sorry, annoyed sarcasm on my part. I have no evidence but am rather sure these are the “anti-choicers” and “pro-capital punishment” groups in America. Just seems like something crazy that would go along with their insane beliefs. Anyhow, back to what’s going on. (He IS for bringing the death penalty back to the UK, as a side note.)

Why Glorify Thatcher NOW; After All The Tragedy She Created?

Why is it that no matter how wrong a person’s deeds were while they were alive; and no matter how many lives they ruined or impacted in a negative way, upon death so many people want to glorify them as saints or good-hearted, good-willed human beings? Immediately after hearing the news regarding Margaret Thatcher’s death, I began seeing posts praising her from people whom otherwise criticized her.

I can’t stand this! If a person isn’t good while alive, why do so many people feel the pressing need to make them into a good person after death? Calling a spade a spade is not being “evil” or disrespecting the dead. Had said person (not just Thatcher but ANYONE) chosen to live a good life and help others, there would be no reason to call them anything other than good. Suicide Number One Cause of Death in England…

The information in this post both breaks my heart and makes me very angry with the world. It is something very close to home, something everyone should be interested in and educated on.

In the UK, on average 3 young men will commit suicide every day, the national British charity states while the Campaign Against Living Miserably notes the public are not even aware that:

“suicide is the single BIGGEST killer of young men in the UK.”

Sadly, this is something that doesn’t shock me and I hope something we can bring change to. Mental illness and Mental health is such a “taboo” topic that it not only is ignored but GREATLY misunderstood and forgotten by the general public. And those whom are plagued with mental illness are afraid to speak out against it because of the lack of understanding, the judgments, and I know for myself it is people pretending to understand or not understanding at all, saying things like: “Think positive” or “it will get better in time.”

This article says it all. We are allowing children, elderly people and ourselves be violated….but not only that, we are allowing our CHILDREN to be violated. Check out the below article, and if you don’t feel rage, consider re-evaluating your life. All of this fear propaganda promotes stereotypical hate and violence, not to mention stupidity. And last but not least, it is violating our human rights, and CHILDREN! I would also like to note the percentage (stated in the below article) of children targeted being non-white. It is just another form of abuse to the people, it’s sickening at the very least ….Why is this not making everyone angry!?! I don’t believe things like this will ever stop, in the UK or US or anywhere until we refuse to accept this as our NORMAL.
