Police Targeting Black America; Impact

I wrote this on my phone as I was reading… I hope it makes sense, and I have a feeling this book though it is full of questions I myself cannot answer, I have a feeling it will be sparking many more posts similar to this. It starts with,

“Are you scared?
Where do you as a Black American feel safe?
Where do you feel threatened?
Why are we still afraid?
Haven’t we been afraid long enough?”

This is just the beginning of an amazing book and already the questions posed I feel are vital to knowing oneself and to ending the evilness of white supremacy. I am honored to be reading this, and I want to utilize this books questions with the precious children I work with, whom I know are afraid… Perhaps in digging deeper into their fears and showing them reasons also to be proud and brave, it will counter some of the racist cruelty that has been forced into their innocent minds?

I fear doing this however and this is my biggest problem… It breaks my heart to hear my friends/family tell me they are afraid anytime they see a cop, I understand WHY I just hate that this is reality. So when little children tell me the same thing, it breaks my heart that much more, it also makes me angry. White people whom say there is no racism from cops and that it’s directed at them and they are ignored (load of bs) simply are upset because they want to be the center of attention now and always, in ever matter.

But if any of those sort read this, I ask, how many white people ESPECIALLY white children do you know who that are afraid upon seeing an officer or knowing one could be around? I have yet to meet a white kid that is afraid and I’m talking 3 years old and up. So no; there is nothing they are “wrong” they are doing to provoke violent and too often fatal responded by police, which is a reply I see too often and I don’t know why as it is beyond logic or any other form of credibility.

In fact, a few years ago I asked one white child in my group what he wanted to be when he grew up.

“A cop!” He replied after a couple of seconds. I was a bit taken off guard because that’s the last job I expected, so I asked him why. This is word by EXCITED word what he said:

“So I can shoot people!”

That was his answer. He was barely 5 years old. What does that answer say about white cops and the American police department in general? What does the difference in his response vs the Black children’s response to police say? Never have I had a Black child give me that response.

That isn’t to say I’ve never had Black children that didn’t want to be a cop; in fact in one of my first cases a 15 year old wanted to be a cop. He suffered from mental illness, and during one of his episodes his mom called the cops, thinking of how he respected them I am sure. Even though he was hurting no one but himself with a knife to his face when they arrived, they took his life. (See video on this post).

I know my writings are depressing; they are real, though, and instead of letting it make you sad or feel hopeless rise against that and feel anger! Don’t let depression take hold; sadly that’s not a luxury available that I see. It is sad and I wish I didn’t have this page but I do because if I don’t speak what I know then in just as guilty as them.

Back to the response these children gave me, years apart the white never knew anyone in my current group of course. Both of these innocent souls have been tarnished by police racism, bigotry and brutality. The white child thinking it’s not only “cool” but ACCEPTABLE to kill; while the Black children are afraid of hearing that answer because a part of childhood has been stolen.

How many times I’ve heard someone say one of the following or something all too similar makes me sick to my soul:

“That could have been my father,” or “my son,” “my brother,” “my nephew,” “my husband,” or that could have been “me”…

I’ve not had anyone other this non-white children and adults confide this horrific fact, and it’s a fact I grew up hearing my friends/family talk about and it enraged me as it does now because I don’t have to worry; and that is not right! If the people I am with have to worry, so should I! Until non-whites have the right to not worry, then no one should have the right that white and light skin people do.

Change is Coming! New Website, New Writers, New Topics! Excitment.

Sorry, I love this song and I love Sam Cooke so… Play it!

Many apologies… I have been posting so much on my new webpage http://proabortionprolife.wordpress.com/ that this page kind of has become neglected. My plan over the next week is to move most of my abortion stuff as well as most of my domestic violence stuff over to the above website. I will be keeping resources for each here as well as there… simply because…I can.

But, for news, updates, etc regarding women’s health please follow that page.

This page will go back to being a more sociopolitical blog and rants about the horrific nature of society.

Also I am excited to say my brother-in-law & friend will be writing as well!!! I’m not exactly sure how to set this up but he can write the most brilliant and intelligent pieces ever, and he is British lol so he will be able to cover news and things going on that I am not able to due to my American lack of understanding 😛

Not to mention one of my favorite benefits; he enjoys debating, something most of you know I don’t do on my pages lol. I’m so happy he’ll be joining me. And on my pro-abortion/women’s page, I believe my dear friend Amy will be writing from time to time regarding women’s health issues also. If this all comes together as it seems it is, I’m going to be on top of the world!

I’ll have this all organized into categories and of course I will still be writing and making videos… This is just my site growing, and I’m feeling rather blessed now 🙂

I’m so excited about this, so please continue to bare with me as I work on exchanging pages, working, studying, etc. Thanks!!! Oh, and please make sure you forward the pro-abortion website to anyone who may be interested… If you don’t really understand what it means to be pro-abortion, you can find the definition clearly stated HERE.

Bottom line, a change is a coming soon 😀 and I’m excited, so stay tuned!

For All Women Who Have Had, Want or Are Going Through Abortion

A quick question for women who’ve just had an abortion, considering having one, or are going through one… To sum it up, I just found a lot of writings I had from during that time, both before, during and after… They are very personal but I thought maybe that is what would hopefully make them worthy of considering… So to speak…. Please inbox me or email me your response if it is something that would help you. 🙂 If I get enough responses that these writings would help, I’ll happily share; despite the uncalled for, irrational hate anti’s will throw at me. I’m numb to them now, they are too brain dead for me to deal with so I don’t mind- I just thought I’d point out how kind these so called “pro-life” and “Anti Abortion, Christian” folk are. One more reason their opinion doesn’t matter. That, and the fact they don’t base their thinking on reality and facts but instead on fantasies and personal views. Ahem- sorry. Video below 🙂

Also! anyone who follows this page for the abortion/women side, I’ll be posting up my new website which will be strictly for women regarding abortion, domestic violence/abuse, rape (men as well- anyone who is a victim to either), women’s health, etc. I’ll have it up shortly, just a few more things I wanna finish up with it before I put it up on here.

And as I said, this site will remain; but mainly for issues such as police brutality, government abuse, racism, and other socio-political related topics.

I Finally Found The Christian Woman Who Has a Pro-Abortion Support Line!

YAY! So, if you’ve kept up with my blog or read any bit of my abortion resources page you should know I’ve been searching for a certain abortion support hotline for Christians. In short, this Christian woman, a pastor’s wife, to be exact, had had an abortion when she was younger. She remained in silence for many years but she says she feels no regrets from it, rather, relief! Finally, a Christian I can respect!

Long story short, because she felt sadness for the women who have to keep silent due to societies zealous lies and misguided hatred, the story inspired the opening of a hotline for women that have had an abortion. I assume it is more directed towards Christian women, but I am sure they would accept anyone. Their first statement is:

“Inspired by their minister’s story, activists at a New York church launch an abortion hotline that offers support without judgment.

She goes on to say something that makes me love her, because I feel she is genuine. I must admit, I have a hard time trusting Christians, but I think this woman is absolutely a blessing to all women, but more specifically to Christian women out there who need other Christians to support them through their abortion. She won my heart over with the following statement:

Her reaction to the abortion itself was sheer relief, and she’s never had regrets. But she felt silenced, she says, and realized that she “spent years carrying around shame from that.”

Anderson says, “It breaks my heart that people are suffering because of something that has left them so stigmatized, feeling guilt, shame, and regret, when they could move on.”

Expose the Dangerous, Cold Lies of Crisis Prenancy Centers (CPC)

(Note: THIS WEBSITE WILL BE ACTIVE STILL- MAINLY FOCUSING ON WAR ON PEOPLE/DRUGS, POLICE BRUTALITY, ETC) While this site will remain active as a site dedicated to police brutality, harmful laws, the war on the people er the war on drugs, etc, I am currently working on separate website that will be dedicated solely to news dedicated to the struggle for women’s rights, including rights for abortion and against domestic violence. I will have that link up soon along with changes to this page made.

In the mean time, I thought I’d post this up in hopes of anyone out there thinking of going to one of these “Crisis Pregnancy Centers” will think twice.

Also, be sure to check out this link where more the lies spewed by Ken Cuccinelli and his supporters are exposed and really, seeing the video or reading the text – either way – it is clear to see how messed up these people are in the head. Nicest way of putting it.

Oh and as a side note, having an abortion did not ruin my life. It wasn’t the most fun thing I’ve done, all women feel differently and that’s okay… But for me, almost a year later, I can say I feel a great RELIEF because I know without a doubt (as I did then) that it was the right choice. Not just for me, but morally. Abortion is not evil, it is not wrong. Stay strong and listen to your HEART – no one else.

A few months ago I made a video explaining why that day I became so aware of the right choice I had made by having a late term abortion. You can view it by clicking HERE. I must note, I ramble a lot in videos lol I am not the best at speaking on camera, but I’m working on it! Maybe in time… 🙂 _ Still plan to have that abortion question / answer video up! Everything has just taken so much longer than I had planned for!

Dangerous Lies Told by Anti-Choice “Crisis Pregnancy Centers”

By

Ali on August 15, 2013 12:37 PM

Have you ever seen advertisements that read “Pregnant? Scared?” or offer free pregnancy tests? Those are marketing tactics by anti-choice “crisis pregnancy centers” (CPCs) aimed at luring women through their doors in order to deceive and shame them out of choosing abortion.

NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia Foundation recently investigated CPCs in their state to expose the lies and misinformation CPC employees tell women.

Here are a few of the most egregious lies that CPCs tell women who believe they’re getting honest medical advice, debunked:

CPC Lie #1: Abortion causes breast cancer.

Truth: This claim has been refuted by the American Cancer Society, the American Medical Association, and the National Cancer Institute. The most respected scientific studies all show that abortion care does NOT increase a woman’s risk of breast cancer.

CPC Lie #2: Abortion will ruin your chances of having children in the future.

Truth: Another unfounded claim. The Guttmacher Institute explains, “The preponderance of evidence from well-designed and well-executed studies shows no connection between abortion and future fertility problems.” And according to the Mayo Clinic, abortion (both surgical and medical) does NOT harm a woman’s chance of getting pregnant or having a healthy pregnancy in the future.

CPC Lie #3: Abortion is extremely dangerous.

Truth: The National Abortion Federation reports that legal abortion is one of the safest medical procedures performed in the U.S. today. Of the women who received early care – when the majority of women end their pregnancies – “97% percent of women report no complications, and less than 0.5% have more serious complications that require some additional surgical procedure and/or hospitalization.” In fact, the complication rate of legal, medically supervised, first-trimester abortion in the United States is significantly lower than the complication rate of most other common outpatient procedures.

CPC Lie #4: Having an abortion will ruin your life.

Truth: The decision to end a pregnancy is a deeply personal one and can elicit a wide variety of emotions, but research has found that “[w]hile some women may experience sensations of regret, sadness or guilt after an abortion, the overwhelming responses are relief and happiness.” Another Guttmacher study found that most women do not feel regret after having an abortion procedure. In order to make the best decision for her and her family, a woman must have accurate and comprehensive information. If CPC employees really cared about women’s mental health, they wouldn’t subject them to coercion and shame.

These lies are designed to scare women out of choosing abortion care. When a woman doesn’t have honest information about her options, it could endanger her reproductive health. And it’s happening across the country. There are 34 states that currently support these dangerous centers with taxpayer dollars. Is your state one of them?

Changes Coming… Stay Tuned :-)

I never thought I would ever feel as passionately about anything as I always have about fighting against police brutality and insane drug laws. But I do; I am equally as passionate about women’s rights, especially abortion. SO I am going to split my page up! One page will be dedicated solely to women and abortion rights, domestic violence, etc… The next will be more socio-political topics, police brutality, etc…. I apologize to everyone I have not emailed back…. it hurts me so much that I haven’t been able to be there like I want, but please remember you aren’t bad, please check out the abortion resources on the right of this page and go to the pass board … There is always some one there to listen without religious or political poison- these ladies are the best group of women out there, and will not judge you. Great place… I wish I could be there as I want to, but as of now it seems this is a bit impossible… I apologize… Just remember abortion is not bad; it does not make you evil or anything else negative these anti’s want to lie and label women to be.

Abortion is okay, no matter your reason. Please remember that….

There has been much to deal with in “real life” and I haven’t had time to work on research, writing, or anything of the like. However things seem to be calming back down now, and I plan on having the sites set up and organized better, I am hoping with a good friend of mine writing some women’s health pieces, within the next few days.

Thank you to all readers who have stayed during my silent period- my “talk too much” period is coming back lol 🙂 this website will remain up I just am not sure exactly what it will deal with, until I have figured it out please do check back here for details and updates… Also, following me on twitter is a good way to not only get information and news, but also a good way to see what’s happening.

16 Year Old Forced Before Anti-Choice Judge; Forced into Pregnancy – ACT NOW!

I haven’t been on here or keeping my word regarding videos on here for awhile… A lot has happened but all that will soon be revealed; please hang in there and thank you to all the readers I have who put up with these bouts of … dryness.

This makes absolutely no sense; I do not understand first of all why anyone should have to go before the legal system to access medical care in the first place! No one has the right to tell a woman, especially a child (and a teenager is technically a child; far too young to be a mother), that she HAS to keep the pregnancy. That is just as bad as saying she HAS to abort. This girl lives in a foster home and probably knows the horrors that go on, and does not wish that upon her child- just as I didn’t and still wouldn’t wish it upon any child. (a fetus is not a child, I am speaking after birth).

She should have the right to make her own choice, not some religious nut with no regard for REAL human life. Judge Bataillon sounds like a typical “christian” person in a position of power… Why and how can we allow this?! We can’t… Stand up for our rights!! In any way…

Below is her story and a link, please sign and share…

A 16-year-old woman living in foster care in Nebraska was forced to go before an anti-choice judge to get permission for a legal abortion — and was denied.

Judge Peter Bataillon — who has a long history of anti-choice activism such as helping Operation Rescue protesters beat criminal charges and running a Right to Life group in Omaha — asked Emily* if she knew that “when you have the abortion it’s going to kill the child inside you.” Then he ruled against her on the grounds of insufficient maturity.

It was clear from the moment that Emily pled her case that Judge Bataillon had no intention of giving her a fair trial. We’ve filed a petition demanding a state investigation into whether he has ruled impartially on this and other abortion-related cases. Will you join us?

If you agree that Judge Bataillon sounds like he’s still reliving his days of defending Operation Rescue activists against stalking charges or can’t forget the time he spent as president of his local Right To Life organization, sign the petition now demanding a review of his qualifications for office.

A Woman in Desperate Need of Abortion Needs Help – & Fast – Please Read & Share!

We as women all need, and deserve, better treatment than this. Any lifelife meaning a human not a fetus which is not an infant or baby until born- is worth more than any amount of money. But the government and religious zealots feel otherwise, as we see. Abortion should be legal, safe and free. But because our health care system and our government are failing us, we as a people need to join together and help others, even if it’s only a dollar…

I talk about my abortion a lot but honestly had I not been able to have mine I would have taken my life. I note this so often because I think and fear for women and girls who are in the same shoes I was in, but in a state that doesn’t legally allow abortions. I was lucky enough to have the Lilith Fund and Whole Women’s Health help me fund my late term abortion. But the Lilith Fund was struggling before Texas government took women’s health care decades backwards. Now, they need your help more than ever.

However, this post is about a woman whom is going by the name of Alice.

Alice* needs your help

She’s already on her way to the clinic for a procedure she doesn’t know if she can afford.

Alice just learned about her pregnancy two days ago, and her Medicaid insurance will not cover an abortion. To add to the complexity, she has been on medicines for several months now that are dangerous to pregnancy. Now, she’s had to leave her children to travel to Washington, D.C., for an abortion she’s still $2,800 away from being able to afford.

Alice has raised money from friends and family, from her local abortion funds, and the clinic itself has even chipped in, but she still needs your help this weekend. Can she count on you?

* – Not her real name.

Please visit the site here and donate if you are able; if not, please spread this page and make sure she gets the help and care she deserves and should have the right to, if it were not for the failure of the American government.
