Newark, NJ… A second home to me after Brooklyn, NY… More importantly, the cause being spoken of below is one of nobility, of righteousness and it needs your help…

This is a cause worth getting involved in… Those who are on the front lines helping the youth, aka the FUTURE, are doing something timeless…Something that will change the future… Please get involved, share or do anything you can to help… The original poster of this and others I know involved are what this world needs more of; real, strong, determined men who know that the community(ies) impacted deserve better than the lies, the injustices and other horrible crimes America has built up in an attempt to keep the people down.

Something worth fighting for… If you are in or around Newark, NJ, or if you can make it out for this, please do come out and join; or at the least please share the message with others who may can make it, in a united effort thanks to the efforts of Newark Anti-Violence Coalition (NAVC) in standing up for the people and the community; helping put an end to violence…

“The mighty Newark Anti-Violence Coalition (NAVC) is calling on 10,000 Strong! On Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 6:00pm in Newark, NJ in the middle of Broad and Market Streets (Downtown Newark). We will condemn the recent spate of violence in the city by holding a mass rally against all forms of violence (i.e. Domestic Violence, Black on Black Violence, Police Violence, etc) the influx of assault rifles, and proliferation of drugs in Black and Brown communities.

Also, we are calling for Black people to get organize for BLACK POWER and for people to get organize for people power. Joining in solidarity with us will be community activists, community organizations, community organizers, progressives, educators, clergy members, the youth, Pan-Afrikanists, revolutionaries, street organizations, parents, students, and you!

“I was told tonight by the Vice Chairperson of POP, Ms. Ingrid Hill, that sister Durden will be at this Thursday’s POP meeting. She will be reaching out to the mighty Newark Anti-Violence Coalition (NAVC) for additional support. Let see if support is there for an action. If you are serious about justice, then we will see you at POP’s weekly meeting this Thursday! POP’s meeting place is at Abyssinia Baptist Church 
224 West Kinney Street, Newark, New Jersey, 07101. The meeting starts at 6:30pm.
