Amid West Houston Evacuations, Concerns Of Dirty Water Arise — CBS Houston

Just as the water crisis in Flint, MI, was exposed I had started working on exposing environmental racism all across America. Flint is really the only place that has gained attention…I mean others perhaps but they come and go, but we can’t afford that.

And yes, it is all due to racism from racist laws, federal officials allowing states to disobey safety regulations; for example last year there was a nuclear waste spill in the Hudson. Over 6,500 people get their water from this source, yet, no one ever had to even make an official statement about it because the amount of nuclear waste that was spilled, eh, the government didn’t feel was a big enough deal to inform people about.

So, to find out about it, you had to search and dig. Just like police brutality and murders, this is not an isolated incident anymore than Flint. There is so much more I have to share and plan on doing; I’m far behind in all of what I want to share but I’ll get it out there…
