The only place I’ve ever felt I belonged is my home; Brooklyn. New York City. I’m very proud of where I come from and am proud to see Bed-Stuy reaching out to the community.
This month the generous activity takes place today, January 12, 2016. This community event will continue to take place each second Tuesday of the month, until further notice.
The hours are from 7pm to 9pm and they do ask you let them know you’ll be attending, so they can plan how many people to prepare for.
For more information, location and address, train directions and all other relevant information you can visit their page by clicking here or reading their banner at the top of this page..
Any and all can come, no one will be turned away and all are welcome to a free, healthy meal while the community grassroots development is discussed. I believe they also have a different speaker(s) each month.
And again, no one will be turned away according to their websites information. This wonderful program and growing organization is a monthly community event, sponsored by those of the Purpose Lounge (click here for information on who they are and to read on their community work and outreach).
They ask if you have the money to please donate $10.00 but reassure no harassment to those of able. Being that they have so many to feed for free as well as other expenses any donations would be more than appreciated I am sure; to help them meet their out can be made securely by clicking here.
